Haitian art Maestro, Lyonel Laurenceau (right), is famous around the world for his uniquely vibrant style, full of color, light and emotion work, which was recently featured at an exhibition in the Museo de Las Casas Reales in the Dominican Republic. During his visit to the DR in July, Mr. Laurenceau also became a supporter of the humanitarian work the Batey Relief Alliance by donating two of his works with the titles: “ We are the world” and “Visit to the Doctor” to be sold or auctioned. The proceeds will be used to advance BRA’s humanitarian effort, which currently provides critical health care and essential medicines to disadvantaged and marginalized populations living in the bateyes.
